- Cobourg Beach/Victoria Beach in the “feel good town” of Cobourg, Ontario is probably thee best if not one of the best beaches in the area. Arrive early to secure a parking spot near the beach because parking fills up fast! Water quality is clear most of summer and there is a giant sign with a swimmable advisory rating to enter the water. Splash pad literally a minute from the beach with Food Truck Vendors and a Child’s Playground!
- Sandbanks just an hour and change South East of Cobourg in Picton, Ontario is a treasured beach in the sandbanks provincial park. Here you can make it an “all day” & “overnight” event full of Camping, Hiking, Kayak with various facilities located in the park. Water quality is great and park rangers can give you all the extra info you need.
- Outlet Beach located in the sandbanks provincial park is “dog friendly” beach option for your furry companion (Also click link for dog friendly beach website at bringfido.ca)
- North Beach provincial park a quieter but still a gorgeous area located just a bit west of Sandbanks. Another option if you’re more about a low key vibe.
- Wellington Rotary Beach a pet friendly lovely located in Prince Edward, Ontario.
